Real Housewives of New York girl code seems to be a thing of the past

It seems that girl code is constantly being brought up at The Real Housewives of New York but it seems that none of the ladies know what it means.

The Real Housewives of New York ladies have often talked about girl code. It seems that it’s something that they all value, but something that they have a hard time sticking to. The idea of the girl code surfaced when Luann de Lesseps announced that she was dating Thomas D’Agostino. Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan were shocked as they had their past issues with him. While Ramona had gone on several dates with him and he had written R+T with a heart around it, Sonja dropped an even bigger bomb. She had been sleeping with him on and off for about 10 years.

And yet, Luann felt that Thomas’ relationships with her Real Housewives of New York co-stars meant nothing. Ramona and Sonja felt she was breaking girl code because she was dating a man they had been with, but de Lesseps didn’t care what happened “before Luann” came into Thomas’ life. But now that Luann de Lesseps is learning that Ramona tried to get into his New Year’s Eve party, she feels that girl code has been violated.

All this talk about girl code has some people confused. Why is Luann calling attention to the broken girl code when she was accused of doing the same thing?
