Karen Huger’s financial situation keeps getting more sketchy, as fans don’t believe she donated any money given to her business by RHOP co-stars.

Karen Huger started out this season of The Real Housewives of Potomac with the news that her husband owed $5 million to the IRS in unpaid taxes. However, Karen also revealed that they didn’t share their finances, so she was essentially unaffected. Huger didn’t really want to talk about it, and while her co-stars had a hard time respecting that, fans wanted more details.

On the newer episodes of The Real Housewives of Potomac, it seems that Karen Huger will do just about anything to avoid talking about her financial situation. When Huger hosted the O-Gala for her friends to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association, she asked her friends to make the cheque out for her business, not the association. This raised some red flags, as people thought they were helping her pay off her business expenses. She claimed she did it so she could write it off for taxes.

On Twitter, several people started questioning how Karen was running the event. Why did people have to pay out the money to her business rather than the charity in question? And why is she refusing to say how much money she ended up donating at the end of the night?

The Real Housewives had some great opinions that captured what most people thought about it. Until Karen proves otherwise or tells fans how much she ended up donating, it can only be assumed that she kept the money herself, possibly to help her husband pay down his debt.
