Jill Zarin is now defending Bethenny Frankel after RHONY viewers thought she made the funeral all about herself and her being alone.

Jill Zarin reappeared on last week’s episode of The Real Housewives of New York after years of staying out of the Bravo spotlight. Despite making a few appearances here and there, Jill and her husband Bobby said goodbye to the show after the fourth season and decided to focus on life, health, business, and family. But when Bobby Zarin suddenly passed away in January, Jill’s friends and former co-stars decided to attend the funeral. It was partially filmed for The Real Housewives of New York. Bethenny Frankel showed up to the funeral because Bobby had been such a good friend to her, and she and Jill exchanged a few words.

But fans were quite harsh towards Bethenny Frankel. When Jill Zarin said that she would now be all alone, Bethenny told her that it would be fine and that she had been alone for a long time too. Fans thought that Frankel was trying to make the situation all about herself, even though she was merely telling Zarin that she wouldn’t be a single woman all by herself. There are plenty of single ladies in the Real Housewives of New York family.

On Twitter, Jill Zarin defended Bethenny, revealing that Frankel didn’t say anything mean or calculated. She was merely trying to understand what she was going through. Plus, one can imagine that Frankel was also upset at Bobby’s passing.

Fans have questioned whether Jill Zarin is coming back to the show now that Bobby is no longer her top priorities. As for Aviva Drescher, she just did an interview where she slammed Bravo. Many have said that she’s trying to get back on the show, but it doesn’t sound like the network is interested in that.

Are you surprised that Jill Zarin and Bethenny Frankel have worked out their issues?
