Jill Zarin decided to film for The Real Housewives of New York when she had to bury her husband, Bobby Zarin. The funeral was featured on this week’s RHONY.

Jill Zarin’s husband Bobby passed away in January after a long battle with cancer. Jill announced that Bobby’s cancer had returned a few years ago and she documented his battle with the illness on her social media pages. However, in January, cancer won the battle and the Real Housewives of New York stars attended the funeral in New York. Even Bethenny Frankel, who had been out of town, chartered a private plane and flew back to New York to be with Jill as she put her husband to rest.

On this week’s episode of The Real Housewives of New York, Jill Zarin made a guest appearance as fans saw her and Jill bond again after years of drama. Bobby was the one who wanted the ladies to make peace. As Bethenny revealed on the show, Jill had told her that she had been in the wrong. While Frankel wasn’t eager to jump into a friendship with Zarin again, it was clear that she felt a sense of peace, putting everything behind her.

On Twitter, Jill Zarin revealed that the funeral was going to be featured. She also revealed that Bravo did a beautiful memorial to his memory, as he had been a huge part of the show during the first couple of seasons. He was the voice of reason during the show’s third season, as Jill struggled to make peace with Bethenny.

As Bethenny beautifully revealed, Bobby always wanted them to work things out and it took his funeral for them to speak about the past. It was indeed Bobby who had made them come back together. Now, Frankel is dealing with drama from Carole Radziwill, but it’s possible that this friendship doesn’t mean as much to her.

What do you think of the way Jill Zarin returned to the show and how Bravo honored Bobby Zarin?
