Sonja Morgan is all about helping Luann de Lesseps after arrest

Sonja Morgan has been by Luann de Lesseps’ side recently and it sounds like she wants to be there for her friend after her arrest.

Sonja Morgan knows what it is like for people to judge her when she makes a mistake. Over the past couple of years, Sonja has tried to find herself after dealing with a personal bankruptcy case. A year after joining The Real Housewives of New York, Sonja learned that a movie she had invested money into never ended up being made. However, she had still pledged the money and would, therefore, need to pay up. Morgan was quick to bounce back, but her drinking seemed to take over.

Now that her The Real Housewives of New York co-star, Luann de Lesseps, is fighting legal trouble, it sounds like Sonja wants to be there for her. Luann was arrested in Florida last Christmas after she resisted arrest, and threatened an officer. She was quick to go into treatment afterward, but her co-stars couldn’t help but make fun of him. Now, it sounds like she wants to be there for Luann as she deals with her life after the guilty plea.

Luann has revealed that she did do those things, and she accepted a deal where the most serious charges would be dropped. She will be doing community service to deal with the minor charges. As for Sonja Morgan, she’s been supporting Luann with her show, and she’s been visiting her in the Hamptons to enjoy the summer weather.

Last summer, Morgan decided to travel to focus on herself. It sounds like she’s sticking around New York to be there for Luann this time around because she wants to make sure that her friend has someone to lean on.
