During a phone call with Carole Radziwill, Tinsley wanted to know every detail and discussed how Luann could have escaped custody using just one hand to get out of the cuffs. It was clear that de Lesseps had become the talk of the town, as she was arrested after returning to Palm Beach. However, before the episode aired, Tinsley posted a photo of herself with a police officer and a cruiser. It was taken in Palm Beach.

In the caption, Tinsley said that she was just hanging out with her friend at the Palm Beach Police Department and mentioned that a new episode of The Real Housewives of New York was airing last night. So, was Tinsley throwing shade at Luann for getting arrested? Not so fast.

When Tinsley Mortimer talks about hanging out with her friends at the Palm Beach Police Department, she’s also making a reference to when she was arrested. Before her time on The Real Housewives of New York, Tinsley was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor for trespassing. She had a restraining order put on her, even though she was unaware. So when she went into the home she shared with her then-boyfriend, she was arrested.

It doesn’t sound like she was mocking Luann for getting arrested. In fact, Tinsley Mortimer may find that it is a funny coincidence that they were both arrested by the same police department, a few years ago. During last night’s episode, Tinsley Mortimer even joked about this fact, saying it was the same building that they were kept in. But she also highlights that while she was charged with a misdemeanor, Luann faced three felonies.
