Sonja Morgan slammed for asking fans for money in exchange for greetings
By Mary Jane
Sonja Morgan recently revealed that fans could pay her money to get a personalized greeting. But that didn’t sit well with fans.
Sonja Morgan has been on The Real Housewives of New York since the show’s third season and she has become a regular housewife in terms of the show’s success. Sonja was already divorced when she joined the show, but she’s been through quite a bit after joining the show. During the show’s fourth season, it was revealed that Sonja was dealing with a personal bankruptcy issue because she didn’t have the money to pay investors for a project that never ended up working out.
She considered selling her townhouse, but she used the money she made from The Real Housewives of New York and other assets to pay her way out of the bankruptcy. Even though Morgan has tried to start a business and use the show as a platform, she hasn’t been able to launch something that’s been majorly successful. But now, she has a new venture and it’s already getting mixed reviews.
On Twitter, Sonja Morgan revealed that she will record a personalized greeting for people for $69. This could be a happy birthday or a sweet message for someone who needs a pick-me-up. But since so many celebrities charge money for social media shout-outs, people think this is rather low of Sonja.

Her Twitter fans were quick to share their thoughts, revealing that it was a ridiculous use of money. One person even pointed out that people should donate money to charity instead of paying Sonja for the greeting. On this season of the show, Morgan is thinking about moving out of her townhouse and into an apartment. She’s also feuded with Dorinda Medley, as the two struggle to get along.
