NeNe Leakes says she’ll be fine after Gregg’s long hospitalization

NeNe Leakes recently opened up about her husband’s health, revealing he’s been in the hospital for two weeks. He also struggled while filming RHOA.

NeNe Leakes has been keeping a low profile after the reunion special aired for The Real Housewives of Atlanta as she’s been keeping busy with her husband. When the previous season began, Leakes revealed that her husband Gregg had been in the hospital for various health-related issues. At the time, it seemed to be a heart issue as his heart would skip a beat, and he would experience irregular beatings.

At the time, NeNe Leakes’ husband appeared to feel better and he quickly got back on his feet. However, it sounds like he hasn’t been able to escape his health problems, as he was back in the hospital for a long period of time. NeNe recently revealed that her husband was in the hospital for 16 days. He’s back home now, but this recent stint has caused Leakes to cancel a few appearances. This The Real Housewives of Atlanta star is staying close to home.

"“Today marks the 15th day straight that Gregg has been in the hospital. I find it very difficult to stand onstage and laugh and have a good time and give you guys your money’s worth knowing that my husband is in the hospital not feeling well. He has said to me over and over again, ‘Go on. Go out there. Have a good time. Do the show. I’m gonna be fine.’ But I find it mentally very hard for me to do.”"

Gregg Leakes is back home now and it seems like doctors feel confident in sending him home. But NeNe may want to stay close to Atlanta, just in case something happens. She has canceled her New York appearances.
