RHOBH reunion: Minimal class with maximum trash
By Paula Staton
The RHOBH ladies may be happy that this season has come to an end because fans are excited that they can now look forward to a better season next year.
A final sigh. The season is thankfully over! I was not impressed much this year. Too much of Dorit. And too much overkill on the drama portrayed.
When reunions come around, my first reaction is to comment on the dresses. I usually have one dress/outfit that stand out positively but this time – NOPE. None of the get-ups for me were noteworthy.
In fact, they were the exact opposite. HORRIBLE. Erika Girardi’s garb for the reunion was uber trashy. She had that “I dream of sleazy” look screaming from her pores.
I did like Lisa Rinna‘s new hairstyle but her dress looked like she got it caught somewhere and was ripped in various places.
If Lisa Vanderpump had not “traced her boobs” on her dress I would have gone past that one too. Plus, that was a pretty trashy moment for her also.
Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave’s dress appeared to be a white towel wrapped around her while Dorit Kemsley’s was a fuchsia mess, hanging limply on her. Kyle Richards had a black ensemble that appeared to have a peasant theme to it or she was getting ready to stomp on grapes in Italy dressed like that.
The entire season was a forgettable one. The reunion consisted a lot of going back and re-living what had happened by doing flashbacks. Andy appeared to be scraping the bottom of the barrel to come up with issues to discuss. Actually, I had heard enough of the drama and overreacting and over ACTING during the season.
Dorit, in my opinion, has a problem. I would not be unhappy to see her not return next year and take Erika with her. But Erika just confirmed this week that she’s returning. She used this show to promote her disgusting song and dance act in the first place. But she did what she came to do so she may very well leave the show with my blessings.

I have seen enough of Erika’s boobs and have heard enough from Dorit’s nonstop mouth. At least this year, we didn’t have Lisa Rinna to kick around. She was pretty subdued and now I miss her big mouth for some reason. Teddi’s first season seemed to go well and hopefully, she will continue to speak up for herself. Lisa Vanderpump’s ego and never-ending drama is pretty much OLD news. She used this season to promote her jewelry line and get into a dramatic disagreement with Dorit.
Kyle managed to show the rest of us what it is like to move into a huge house only to get robbed and have most of your jewelry taken. I don’t understand how that happened…but apparently, it did!
In my opinion, if this show wants to survive I would suggest keeping drama but switching over to other subjects and making the fans believe in their drama. This year was, for me, a big bust (no pun intended).
