Luann de Lesseps is still focusing on a glamorous lifestyle and partying despite her looming legal troubles. Is she living in denial?

Luann de Lesseps was arrested just before Christmas because of her behavior while under the influence. Luann has since said that she was drugged before her arrest, but fans believe that she could just be saying that to lessen her charges and her responsibility in the matter. She was arrested on various minor charges, but the charges were upgraded when she tried to escape custody and threatened to kill a police officer. This is something that could be featured on this season of The Real Housewives of New York in a few weeks.

One would think that Luann de Lesseps has learned a thing or two after her arrest. Despite filming The Real Housewives of New York, Luann decided to get some treatment after her arrest and spent a month focusing on herself. However, it seems like she isn’t slowing down at all. She’s still attending parties, living a glamorous lifestyle, and was even spotted smoking pot this year in New York City.

While a judge may not care about the glamorous lifestyle, the judge could look at her party attendance since her arrest. Since Luann de Lesseps guessed that she had been drugged before the arrest, a judge could say that her partying is irresponsible.

Of course, Luann has also tried to bring Thomas D’Agostino into the drama. When she was first arrested, she said she lost control because this was the first time she had been back in Miami where she and Thomas had wed just a year prior. The emotional rollercoaster of going back was just too much for her.
