Ashley Darby’s mother proven to be immature and irresponsible

Ashley Darby’s mother decided it was time to distance herself from her family. But fans called her out for essentially being immature.

Ashley Darby seems to be caught in between a rock and a hard place on this season of The Real Housewives of Potomac. Ashely and her husband Michael separated for a bit, as they couldn’t agree on how to manage their relationship. During the show’s second season, they decided to throw themselves into the restaurant business and opened Oz as a tribute to Michael’s Australian roots. The money, however, was tight and caused friction in the relationship.

It didn’t help that Ashley Darby was giving her mother money to support her. Ashley’s mother appears to be a more prominent figure on this season of The Real Housewives of Potomac, as she hasn’t really established herself compared to the first season. She is still dating the same man and she’s still struggling financially. During Sunday’s episode of the show, Ashley confronted her mother with the reality that she couldn’t keep paying for her lifestyle.

During the scene, her mother essentially threw a temper tantrum because she doesn’t like the fact that she has to respond to Ashley Darby’s husband, who has been giving her money. It’s clear that everyone wants her to leave her boyfriend, but Darby’s mother wants both her man and a money source.

The way she acted proves that she’s very immature for her age. She should know that she can’t just take money from people and continue to make mistakes. As the adult, she should be caring for herself and possibly even be helping Ashley. It shouldn’t be the other way around. If she continues, she could end up in another bankruptcy case, or end up in the papers like Karen Huger.
