Kenya Moore has been very private about her pregnancy, but she decided to speak out on her first Mother’s Day.

Kenya Moore told her Real Housewives of Atlanta co-stars that she and her husband Marc Daly were expecting their first bundle of joy together later this year when she was filming the reunion special recently. At the time, Kenya hadn’t planned on revealing the pregnancy, but she let it slip. She said it was so early she didn’t want to say anything, but since then, she hasn’t said anything else. She hasn’t confirmed the sex of the baby or shown a baby bump.

But this weekend, the pregnant The Real Housewives of Atlanta star got to celebrate her first official Mother’s Day. While she doesn’t have her baby in her arms yet, she does have an offspring growing inside of her belly and she is responsible for the unborn child. On Instagram, she decided to share more details about her role as a mother, revealing she was very thankful for the opportunity to become a mother.

She also revealed that while the man of the house, in her case Marc Daly, is the head of the house, it is the mother that is the glue that sometimes holds everything together. She also explained that she was in awe of motherhood and everything she was about to experience.

Lastly, Kenya Moore explained that she would never take this role as a mother for granted and she was excited about the things to come in her life. She hasn’t revealed how she’s going to handle the baby and the birth with The Real Housewives of Atlanta, as it’s possible that she won’t be sharing the baby on the television show.
