Sonja Morgan was preparing her townhouse for a rental tenant, but fans had great suggestions. One person mentioned a RHONY museum, which could be profitable.

Sonja Morgan invited viewers inside her New York townhouse, a home she has lived in for years and the whole time she has filmed Real Housewives of New York. When Sonja told viewers that she had filed for personal bankruptcy because of a bad business deal, Morgan hoped she could keep her townhouse. It sounded like the house was a part of her identity and she loved how the townhouse made her feel. So it was a bit of a shocker when she told viewers this season that she had found an apartment and wanted to rent out her home.

During Wednesday’s episode of The Real Housewives of New York, Sonja Morgan got the help of a designer and a real estate agent to see how they could clean up the home so she could get $32,000 per month in rent. It required lots of physical work, including replacing some furniture and painting the walls. Fans on Twitter revealed she would never do that herself, so one person had an excellent suggestion.

The suggestion was to make the townhouse into a museum dedicated to the crazy things that have happened on The Real Housewives of New York. This includes the toaster oven Sonja wanted to launch a few years ago, Aviva’s prosthetic leg, and Ramona Singer’s Pinot Grigio.

While Sonja was holding on to the home because she had a hard time getting over her divorce, it sounds like keeping it in her portfolio of assets is a wise decision. But it’s possible she will rent it out instead of turning it into a museum. However, the idea is stellar and would surely draw hardcore fans to the home.

What do you think of Sonja Morgan renting out her beloved townhouse?
