Luann de Lesseps needs to understand how hard relationships are

Luann de Lesseps keeps telling Carole Radziwill that she wants more attention over her divorce, but she needs to realize that relationships require work.

Luann de Lesseps seems to have a really hard time accepting that Carole Radziwill doesn’t want to reach out and mourn Luann’s failed marriage to Thomas D’Agostino. The newest season of The Real Housewives of New York has just begun but Luann can’t seem to let go of the fact that Carole hasn’t reached out to her when the news of her divorce broke. But Radziwill points out that Luann didn’t reach out to her when she heard the news that she and Adam Kenworthy had ended their relationship.

Luann keeps telling Carole that her situation is more important because she was married. It should be noticed that Carole was with Adam for years, whereas de Lesseps met and married Thomas within a year and the marriage only lasted eight months. Luann needs to understand that it is much harder to make a relationship work in the long run than to sign a marriage certificate. Plus, many would argue that her marriage only happened because The Real Housewives of New York star is a hopeless romantic.

From the beginning, there were red flags. Many of Luann’s co-stars warned her about Thomas, saying he wasn’t really the type to marry. He cheated on her before their engagement party, and he called his wedding ring a ball-and-chain scenario.

During an episode of the show, Thomas D’Agostino even hung out with Missy, his ex-girlfriend. When she wanted to talk to him about his marriage, he tried to remove his microphone from his body before talking to her. Luann needs to understand that she can’t expect people to reach out to her when they warned her about him for months. Instead, she should look at how much effort it takes to make a relationship work. Perhaps she could learn something from the past as well, as she has been caught cheating on her boyfriends while filming The Real Housewives of New York. Sometimes, money can’t buy you class – or a husband.
