Jax Taylor broke up with Brittany Cartwright during last week’s episode of Vanderpump Rules, telling the cameras that he wanted to make her happy. After she learned that he had cheated on her, she questioned her relationship with him. He had betrayed her but she wanted to give it a second chance. But Taylor continued to struggle with his decision to stay in the relationship.

Even though he broke things off with Brittany while filming Vanderpump Rules, the two are now back together. The two have used social media to brag about their love and they have since talked about marriage and children. Jax has even admitted that he’s now thinking about marriage, even though the two clearly broke up while filming.

But fans are calling the breakup story pointless. They all know that Jax and Brittany are back together based on their social media. He keeps gushing about how much love he has for Brittany despite everything they have gone through.

At the time of filming, the producers didn’t know that Jax Taylor and Brittany would get back together. At the same time, Lisa Vanderpump was contemplating firing Jax. Things appeared to be going badly for him, but it sounds like he has put it all behind him. That doesn’t change the fact that the breakup storyline for Vanderpump Rules is pointless now that they have used social media to brag about how they have overcome obstacles. Perhaps Bravo will put new restrictions on social media clauses in their contract to avoid these storyline reveals in the future.
