Bethenny Frankel and Fredrik Eklund wrapped the first season of their spin-off show, Bethenny & Fredrik, last night, but the final update revealed that their first flip spent 115 days on the market. What’s the deal?
Bethenny Frankel has been a busy woman over the past couple of months, as she’s filmed both the newest season of The Real Housewives of New York and Bethenny & Fredrik. Bethenny and Fredrik Eklund from Million Dollar Listing New York teamed up to flip a property in New York for a new Bravo show and it sounds like it was a success in terms of ratings and viewers. But when it came to flipping the property for a quick sale and a large profit, it sounds like the project wasn’t nearly as perfect as they had hoped.
During the finale episode last night, viewers learned that the apartment hadn’t sold after 115 days on the market. Fans also learned that the apartment had to be reduced in price after so long and that they were in the final stages of closing the sale. When Bethenny was asked about the flip from Bethenny & Fredrik, she revealed that she couldn’t say any more than what was on the show because the property was still in the closing stage.
Right now, Bethenny and Fredrik can’t say how much they have sold the apartment for as the buyer could still back out of the deal. But the number mentioned on last night’s finale is no longer the same sales number. Bravo simply stated that they had taken a big price cut, which means they have lowered the price drastically.
Even though Bethenny Frankel and Fredrik Eklund can’t reveal the final sales price or perhaps even their profits, it’s possible for fans to figure it out. Sales information is often public record, and fans can use the numbers discussed on the show. The final sales price minus the original sales price, and then subtract the construction price with the designers and other final costs. The additional fees and taxes should also be considered.
Fans can look forward to new seasons of both Million Dollar Listing New York and The Real Housewives of New York, as both of them are set to return this spring. Bravo has yet to reveal whether Fredrik and Bethenny will get a season two.

What do you think about Bethenny Frankel and Fredrik not dishing a potential profit from their first flip? Do you think they will come clean with the numbers once the apartment sells or do you think the profit is essentially irrelevant for the show’s success?
