Whats the big deal between NeNe Leakes and Sheree Whitfield’s boyfriend Tyrone on Real Housewives of Atlanta?

NeNe Leakes’ issues with Sheree’s boyfriend Tyrone go way further than his prison sentence or the things he did to earn it. 

Real Housewives of Atlanta fans finally learned the real reason that NeNe Leakes is upset about Sheree Whitfield’s relationship with Tyrone Gilliams. It turns out that she wanted him first. Is NeNe really worried that Tyrone’s criminal history will be problematic for Sheree or is she just jealous that he wanted NeNe’s friend and not her?

As Season 10 of Real Housewives of Atlanta has progressed, NeNe Leakes has dropped hints to Sheree that she’s not happy about her relationship. However, she never said exactly why. One thing did stick out though. NeNe sure did seem to care a lot about who Sheree was dating and it bothered her a lot.

It turns out that the real reason that NeNe is so salty about Sheree dating Tyrone is that she also has a romantic history with him. NeNe admitted during the latest episode of RHOA that she and Tyrone GIlliams briefly dated when she and Gregg were dealing with all of that divorce drama.

While Tyrone claims that he just wasn’t into NeNe, she says there was no chemistry between them at all. She also says that it was he who pursued her and not the other way around.

Considering the way NeNe has been acting lately and the fact that NeNe tried to throw Sheree under the bus with Tyrone years ago, it seems that some truths may have been stretched. Was Tyrone in pursuit of NeNe? Or was it the other way around?

NeNe tried to further cause problems for Sheree’s rekindled relationship by cautioning her that Tyrone is not to be trusted. Already having been convicted after unsuccessfully trying to operate a Ponzi scheme, NeNe believes that Tyrone is only dating Sheree because of her celebrity status and nothing else.
