Rumor has it that Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita are headed back to RHONJ

With Season 8 of Real Housewives of New Jersey coming to an end soon, Bravo fans are already looking to casting rumors for Season 9. 

Assuming that we get a Season 9 of Real Housewives of New Jersey, many fans are already trying to figure out who might join the show to spice it up a bit. It shouldn’t shock anyone that producers would look to old faces in an effort to build drama. It was done on Real Housewives of Atlanta last season when NeNe and Kim came back. Now it looks like RHONJ is exploring the possibility of bringing back some OG cast members; namely Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita.

Season 8 of RHONJ was full of drama. However, Siggy Flicker announced her departure after taping the reunion show, which will ultimately remove the biggest storyline from the show. With Siggy gone, the majority of the cast gets along with the exception of Dolores Catania and Danielle Staub. If Bravo wants to bring back the show for another season, they’ll have to stir the pot and create some drama.

Bringing back Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita just might be the level of drama that we need. Both of them are at odds with Danielle Staub and Teresa Giudice. That means there could be quite a bit of tension if they were to return.

When asked if that was even a possibility, Danielle Staub made it clear that she’s not a fan of bringing back Manzo and Laurita. She already said that her return for Season 8 worked out because she could “navigate” the drama with one person during the season but she wasn’t trying to deal with RHONJ if she was at odds with everyone.

Now that she’s made up with Teresa and Melissa and buddied up with Margaret, Danielle wouldn’t be the outcast anymore. It would be more likely that the cast would be split down the middle with Danielle, Teresa, and Melissa on one side and Dolores, Caroline, and Jacqueline on the other.
