RHONY alum Jill Zarin mourns loss of husband Bobby Zarin

Today is a sad day for the Zarin family. 

Earlier this month, Jill and Bobby Zarin celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary. The couple has had a very rough decade as Bobby battled thyroid cancer beginning in 2009. While the treatments were rough, he seemingly pulled through and remained in remission until 2016.

Jill Zarin announced Bobby Zarin’s cancer had returned in 2013. At that point, it had spread to his lungs. Later in November 2016, it was revealed that it had also spread to Zarin’s brain. He was hospitalized in 2017 for treatment and was released in August. Both Jill and Bobby were fighting against this horrible disease, and they were determined to beat it.

Bobby Zarin reentered the hospital back in November, and he was not released. Close friends of Jill Zarin revealed it wasn’t looking good for the 71-year-old. It was a few weeks later that Jill went to Camp Zarin and filmed two Instagram videos of her departure. She said goodbye to the home she spent many years in, the one she shared with Bobby.

Fans have been following Bobby Zarin’s journey, and unfortunately, he lost his battle with cancer earlier today. Jill Zarin released a statement on her website to deliver the news. RHONY fans are sending condolences across social media. The Zarins had plenty of support from the family and friends, but Jill is likely devastated by the loss of her soulmate.
