Sirens Media accused of torpedoing Siggy Flicker so Danielle Staub can take her place

Was Siggy Flicker set up on Season 8 of Real Housewives of New Jersey so that Danielle Staub could take her full-time spot back? 

As Real Housewives of New Jersey gets closer to the end of Season 8, there have been some pretty disgusting accusations made against SIrens Media, the production company that films RHONJ. Siggy Flicker has been complaining about getting a really unfair edit for months now and with the deletion of Danielle Staub’s bathroom sex scene, it’s really looking like Siggy’s edit was pretty unfair while Danielle’s was cleaned up along with her image.

Throughout Season 8 of Real Housewives of New Jersey, Siggy Flicker has been portrayed as an over-emotional drama starter who just couldn’t stand all the attention that the new girl, Margaret Josephs, was getting. While there’s no denying that Siggy threw herself on the floor to prove a point to Melissa Gorga and even told Teresa Giudice that she wanted to rip out Margaret’s pigtails, the relationship expert has been adamant that she was set up and that the editing left out much of the story.

Siggy even said that Margaret Josephs admitted to terrorizing her throughout the season at the direction of producers. Something that Margaret reportedly admitted during the RHONJ reunion show taping.

It’s no secret that both Danielle Staub and Margaret Josephs are close to Dorothy Toran. She happens to be in charge of the production of Real Housewives of New Jersey. That means, if anyone decides which direction the storylines go, it’s her.

Danielle and her friend Dorothy have been working hard to clear up her image on Season 8 according to a report from All About The Tea. That was made clear when a controversial bathroom sex scene between Danielle Staub and Marty Caffrey was left on the cutting room floor. The raunchy escapade was caught on film since it happened during the opening of the already-defunct Gorga’s Restaurant.

The world may have never even known about Danielle’s bathroom tryst (and the raunchy story about how she pointed out the evidence on her shoe) if it hadn’t been for two bloggers who attended the event. Even they were reportedly thrown out, at the request of Danielle.

Keep in mind that even before Season 8 of Real Housewives of New Jersey premiered, Danielle was at the center of a racist rant scandal that seemed to disappear. Back then, there were reports that the rest of the RHONJ cast wanted her edited out of the season altogether. It didn’t happen and now, no one is even talking about that.

Production went heavy on Teresa Giudice’s apology to Danielle for calling her a “prostitution whore” in that infamous table-flipping scene from years ago. Teresa even went so far as to apologize to the one daughter who would listen to it. In the end, a lot of sympathy was manufactured for both Danielle and her daughters, helping to cement her place on the cast.

As soon as Siggy Flicker announced that she was leaving Real Housewives of New Jersey, Danielle Staub started talking about how she’d love to be full time again. Is this a coincidence or was it all part of the plan? WIth Siggy out, there’s an open spot. Despite being part-time for Season 8, Danielle was part of every single episode.
