RHONJ Season 8 reunion: Let’s start with the dresses

After an over-dramatic Season 8 of Real Housewives of New Jersey goes out with a bang, here comes the reunion. 

The much-anticipated reunion show is scheduled for next week.. I am one that wants to see what everyone is wearing and do commenting on the dresses before I get to the nitty-gritty of the show itself.

Siggy Flicker appears to be headed to a prom after the taping. This will be (fortunately for a lot of us) the last time we can criticize her. So, I say she picked a wrong style of dress. It’s a bit young for her if you ask me ( and no one did).

Teresa Guidice is showing a lot of “leg” there. I was very disappointed she was not quite as vocal this season. Apparently, she is watching her P’s and Q’s to conform to her probation. Also, she did not seeing her husband Joe Guidice for what….7 months? That was surprising and sounds like what Melissa and Joe Gorga said, which was “she’s walking.”  Personally, I would be surprised if she stays with Juicy Joe. She has, rightfully, a lot of resentment towards him which may never subside. And, she is now more blonde than ever!

Danielle Staub will be there for the Season 8 RHONJ reunion

Margaret Josephs has a not so flattering green dress on. She looks like the bad witch from “Wicked” in that color. But I do like her and found her to be one of the best newbies to the housewives show in quite some time.

Melissa Gorga is the only member of the group that opted for a shorter dress and I found it to be very appropriate in comparison to the other dresses worn by the cast members.. Melissa was hardly relevant this season which I found odd. She only had a storyline that involved her store, Envy and the other was her reluctance to be a team player at the now-defunct restaurant.

Dolores Catania showed up in black. Maybe she was mourning the loss of her friend, Siggy, who will not be returning next season. I still have yet to figure out her living arrangement with her ex-husband, Frank Catania, and her boyfriend. Was the boyfriend even shown this season? If he was it was a forgettable appearance because I don’t recall it happening.

Danielle Staub will be showing up in some kind of red, “here are my boobs” dress. Not a fan of hers.  I was totally surprised she did not cause a big fight this season. Maybe she is warming up to go back to her old ways next time.

I am certain there will be a lot more to comment on after the reunion show(s) are seen!
