Danielle Staub wants her fulltime spot back on Real Housewives of New Jersey
Season 8 of Real Housewives of New Jersey marks Danielle Staub’s return to reality TV but she’d really like fulltime status.
With Season 8 of RHONJ over, we’re starting to look at next season and what may or may not be. It’s already been shared that Siggy Flicker won’t be returning. That might be the perfect opportunity for Danielle Staub to get her spot back.
Recently, Danielle made it clear that she wants a promotion. While talking to Life & Style, she talked about wanting to move back into full-time status and what it was like to rejoin the cast again after all these years.
“Absolutely! Without a second thought.” Danielle said about wanting to be full-time. “It’s actually like I never left except when I opened the door to walk through, I actually like everyone in the room. If this were Seasons 1 and 2, I would have stayed on the show. I can deal with one or two people not like me, but when it was the whole cast, I couldn’t navigate it.”
The former RHONJ villain did her best this season to redeem herself. She quickly buddied up to Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga. This was odd because Danielle and Teresa never got along. As a matter of fact, one of the most dramatic moments in Real Housewives history happened when Teresa called Danielle a “prostitution whore” and flipped a table in front of Danielle’s daughters.
Danielle Staub’s return to Real Housewives of New Jersey is possibly the smartest thing she’s ever done. During the season, the bulk of the drama revolved around Siggy Flicker. There was moment between Danielle and Dolores Catania that could have been epic. Due to the way Danielle handled it, things didn’t get as dramatic as they could have.

Now Danielle has made it clear that she’s ready for fulltime on Real Housewives of New Jersey. We can’t help but wonder what that would be like with the new version of Staub. Will she revert back to being the RHONJ villain now that Siggy is gone? Will someone else join the cast to stir things up too? Danielle as a full-timer with the return of Kim DePaola would be pretty epic, don’t you think?
