Kenya Moore’s fake wedding on RHOA went way better than the divorce party she threw

Since the cast of RHOA didn’t get invited to Kenya Moore’s wedding, they decided to throw her another one, just like that divorce party she threw for Phaedra Parks and Cynthia Bailey.

Season 10 of Real Housewives of Atlanta has been dealing with Kenya Moore’s wedding as one of the main focal points. Kenya’s fellow peach holders want all the details about her new man and some are even skeptical about whether or not her marriage is real.

Despite the fact that nearly no one was invited to the wedding, it was really obvious that Kenya’s RHOA friends were really salty about not getting invited when she said “I do” in St. Lucia.  Then again, when it comes to the Atlanta crew, it’s pretty easy for them to find something to be salty about.

While the RHOA ladies were on that group trip in San Francisco, they decided to make up for the missed wedding and threw one of their own for Kenya Moore. Of course, there was one big problem. None of Kenya’s co-stars have even met her husband, Marc Daly, and he wasn’t on the trip with them either.

To substitute for the missing groom, the RHOA ladies brought a “flat Marc” which was just a cardboard cutout of Kenya’s man. To further prove their pettiness, where Marc’s face should be was a big question mark instead. So was it Flat Marc or Flat Question Mark? Seriously petty.

Porsha, who is absolutely not on good terms with Kenya, threw quite a bit of shade when talking about the stand in husband.

“The groom is like so what I would imagine Kenya to marry. Someone who is tall and mysterious. Someone who is completely questionable,” Williams said. “I think he’s perfect!”

Considering that the whole fake wedding was supposed to be something they thought of on the fly, it’s a little odd that the ladies had everything they needed in order to do it. They even had stuffed toy dogs to stand in for Kenya’s pets. Kandi Burruss sang the wedding song while NeNe Leakes officiated.

Thankfully, Kenya Moore did not get offended. She explained why in her confessional during the episode.

“When I saw the groom and that was supposed to be my husband, it was like, ‘I’m just going to go with it because it’s making me smile because it’s so stupid,’ ”Kenya said of the fake wedding.

Remember when Kenya Moore threw the divorce party?

When she said that, it kind of reminded me of that divorce party she threw for Phaedra Parks and Cynthia Bailey back in Season 9. Kenya got way into planning that party in order to celebrate the split up of two RHOA couples.

Naturally, Phaedra was very offended by the idea even though she didn’t seem too excited at the prospect of staying married to Apollo Nida either. As a matter of fact, she even threw shade at Kenya Moore for organizing the party, claiming that she was part of the break down of her marriage.

As for Cynthia Bailey, we all know she rides hard for Kenya Moore. She’s possibly a better friend to Kenya than Kenya is to her. When everyone was talking about the divorce party and how thoughtless it all was, it was Cynthia who came to her rescue. She even explained that she didn’t love the divorce party but she appreciates that her friend was just trying to be thoughtful.

Fast forward to Season 10 and Cynthia is still going to bat for Kenya Moore just like before, or maybe even more than ever. She has even cried when the RHOA ladies take aim at Kenya. When I say she’s going hard for her friend, she’s really putting her heart and soul into that friendship.

After the fake Kenya Moore wedding, which seemed to actually be a lot of fun, the other peach holders were busy trashing Kenya and wondering out loud again if she’s even really married to Marc Daly. That’s when Cynthia came unglued at her friends again because they just won’t let up on Kenya.

It seems that no one gave Kenya credit this time around for having a bit of fun with her RHOA co-stars. Instead of getting offended by the fake wedding (especially since so many of them think the first one was fake too) she went with it.

Next: Kenya Moore adamant, she is not fired!

They all had a good time in San Francisco and they even managed to get a bunch of random strangers involved. If only the peach holders could do that all of the time There would be a lot less drama but it would be great to see some actual friends having a good time together without all the constant shade.

Of course, as soon as Kenya Moore left for her grandmother’s funeral, the women continued discussing whether or not the marriage was even real. This time around, I feel like it’s worth giving Kenya the benefit of the doubt. She really does seem happy with Marc Daly and sometimes you just know when everything clicks.

It’s really possible that Kenya Moore finally met the man of her dreams. However, if Kenya does get busted for some weird arranged marriage scheme, that’s the deal breaker and Bravo should be done with her.
