Did the Season 10 premiere of RHOA feel like the Kenya Moore show to anyone besides me?

Real Housewives of Atlanta debuted Season 10 on Sunday night and spent quite a bit of time on Kenya Moore’s storyline. She did get married, after all. Or did she? Much like NeNe Leakes, I’m not believing anything without receipts and in this case, a marriage license will do.

In any case, one of the major confrontations during the Season 10 debut of RHOA revolved around Kenya Moore and her father, Ronald Grant. Kenya’s dad wasn’t at her quickie wedding in St. Lucia back in June and he’s not happy about it.

During a very emotional scene, Kenya admitted she wanted him there too but critics are ripping Kenya apart over that claim because, as many believe, she could have and should have just invited him.

As People pointed out, Kenya Moore and Marc Daly were married in St. Lucia and they weren’t alone when they did it. Kenya’s aunts Lori and Lisa were both there as well as her high school best friend Shonda.

Initially, when Kenya was asked about the absence of her father during her wedding ceremony, she said he couldn’t make it because he was in Jamaica for his birthday. After watching RHOA last night, it’s clear that he just plain wasn’t invited. Instead, Kenya Moore opted to let her friend Brandon DeShazer walk her down the aisle.

Despite wishing her dad was on hand for her big day, Kenya used the Season 10 premiere of RHOA to explain why she didn’t want her dad there. The jury is still out on whether that is the honest truth or if there’s more to the story but here is what she said.

“I decided not to invite my father because you never know what he’s going to say,” Kenya admitted. “He can’t be controlled. And I didn’t want there to be anything at my wedding to upset my future husband. I didn’t want anything to spoil my wedding day. … I knew that if he said the wrong thing — and I know my husband.”

RHOA fans know very little about Kenya’s new husband Marc Daly despite several months of digging up dirt on her new man. However, last night’s RHOA admission stinks and it also makes me wonder what exactly Marc might have done if Kenya’s dad popped off at the mouth.

Next: Will Season 10 be Kenya's last on RHOA?

Was that what Kenya was really worried about or was she nervous that her dad would out her for being fake married? Let me just remind you that still, no one has seen a marriage license or marriage certificate. It’s not like Kenya hasn’t faked whole relationships in the past so this current “marriage” is still waiting on proof. Will Kenya Moore bring it?
