Kelly Dodd ditches husband and Newport Beach house — RHOC star is ready to date again

Kelly Dodd wants to start a new life and with that, her house is sold. 

Several weeks ago, Kelly Dodd announced her intention to divorce Michael Dodd. The two had issues a few years ago and separated. They reconciled instead of divorcing, but now, it is definitely over.

Initially, Kelly Dodd talked about wanting to do a quickie divorce and settling assets at a later time. She wanted to be rid of Michael and handle everything else after she was free. After announcing the divorce, Kelly went to Europe for several days. She has since returned and is gearing up to film The Real Housewives of Orange County.

The house Kelly Dodd and Michael shared has been featured on The Real Housewives of Orange County several times. Most recently, it was the center for a verbal match between Shannon Beador and Lydia McLaughlin. Also, there was some shouting between Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge. It is also where Kelly recovered from her breast reduction surgery.

Dodd’s home went on the market last year. Initially, it was listed for $6.25 million. It didn’t sell, so the price was dropped. According to TMZ, the Dodd’s Newport Beach home sold for $5 million. Kelly Dodd is now free from her home and about to be free from her husband as well.

Anticipation is building for what Kelly Dodd might say at the upcoming reunion. It has not been filmed yet, but it should be happening at any point now. Dodd isn’t one to hold back and now, she can tell the world all about it.
