Joe Giudice unrecognizable? Joe Gorga reveals brother-in-law’s 45 pound weight loss

Joe Giudice has at least one good thing going for him while serving his time according to brother-in-law Joe Gorga. 

Real Housewives of New Jersey husband Joe Giudice has been locked up at FCI Fort Dix since last March and will likely remain there while serving out his 41-month prison sentence. There have been plenty of challenges for Giudice, who spent some time this year fighting for his right to enter an alcohol treatment program.

It turns out that there have been some wins for Joe, who did get a judge to side with him regarding the alcohol treatment program. It turns out that he’s also been getting in much better shape during his incarceration.

While they were visiting Watch What Happens Live for the Real Housewives Awards last week, Joe Gorga talked to Andy Cohen about how Joe Giudice was doing. The RHONJ husband told Andy that Teresa Giudice’s husband is making major strides in prison when it comes to his health.

Joe Giudice only stands 5-feet-5-inches and walked into prison quite a bit overweight. Now Gorga says that his brother-in-law managed to lose between 40 and 45 pounds during his prison stay. Will he even be recognizable when he gets out?

Teresa goes to visit Joe at least once a week so she’s seen his progress and she’s been filling her RHONJ family in. When Joe Gorga was talking about the way Giudice looks now, Melissa chimed in and said, “Teresa said he’s skinny!”
