RHOA stars spent the weekend helping Hurricane Harvey victims
Several Real Housewives stars have been putting in some work, and their own money, to help Hurricane Harvey victims in Houston.
If there was an award for the Bravo show with the most Hurricane Harvey volunteers, Real Housewives of Atlanta would win. The peach holders are definitely doing big things when it comes to helping hurricane victims get back to their lives.
Over the weekend, three RHOA stars made a difference in Houston. A fourth already opened up her wallet just days after the hurricane hit. Their hard work and financial donations are not going unnoticed.
Bravo TV reported that Kandi Burruss made a large financial contribution following the recent disaster. Soon after, three of her RHOA co-stars also decided to donate their time and money.
Cynthia Bailey and Kenya Moore were a part of the Hurricane Harvey clean-up over the weekend. The RHOA friends, along with Cynthia’s sister Malorie, headed to Houston together to get their hands dirty.
Cynthia and Kenya still managed to look fabulous while dressed down in jeans, t-shirts and hard hats. They spent their time helping Habitat For Humanity.
Kenya even left a message on Instagram so that fans would know where she would be and at what time. She urged them to meet her in Houston to help fix the hurricane damage for local families.
The Saturday cleanup effort came after a benefit concert hosted by Cynthia and her sister Malorie. On Friday night, the Bailey sisters held a concert at the Buffalo Soldiers Museum that featured Leela James, Ernest Pugh, and Dondria. The proceeds went to Houston H30 and the event was billed as a Hurricane Harvey recovery benefit.
Porsha Williams also had a hand in the hurricane recovery efforts. It’s no surprise that she passed on getting dirty with Cynthia Bailey and Kenya Moore, Porsha still made sure to put her time in.
On Sunday, Porsha was at Grooves on Pierce Street in Houston. She also advertised where she’d be in order to give back after Hurricane Harvey. Those who showed up to Grooves while Porsha was there were treated to free haircuts and a hot meal. They were also giving out clothes and supplies to those in need.

It’s not known if other Real Housewives of Atlanta cast members contributed to Hurricane Harvey via donations. If they have, then they aren’t making it known on social media and that’s okay too.
