Bethenny Frankel reveals she had a growth removed while fundraising for Hurricane Harvey

Bethenny Frankel had a very visible band-aid on her face during her Instagram plea for help for Hurricane Harvey victims. 

Let’s be real, Bethenny Frankel doesn’t sugarcoat things. She has been working hard this week to help the people in Texas affected by the devastating Hurricane Harvey. Raising money, making sure supplies are bought, and ensuring clothing will get down there for the families who lost it all.

On The Real Housewives of New York,” Bethenny Frankel is the outspoken one. Her opinions are her own, but if they offend one or all of the cast members, she just doesn’t care.

She returned to the reality show following the dissolution of her marriage to Jason Hoppy. While her private life is mostly kept off of the show, Bethenny doesn’t hold back when answering questions from her fans.

According to Us Weekly, Bethenny Frankel had a growth removed from her face at some point this week. Fans spotted the bandage on her face on Instagram and quickly asked the reality star about it.

Frankel answered back that she had a growth removed, and it was being tested for basal cell carcinoma. Apparently, it is the most common type of skin cancer because around one percent of the population is diagnosed with it every year.

In true Bethenny fashion, she joked about her jaw size in the same breath as she announced her possible cancer scare. Unfortunately, there are no answers about her condition right now.

Information on the growth is expected at some point in the near future. It will be tested and if Frankel chooses to reveal what happened, she will. Most of her endeavors are made public, except for things dealing with her ex-husband or young daughter.
