Where in the world is Luann de Lesseps? Not New York City

The former Mrs. D’Agostino and former former Countess is apparently weather her divorce fallout Switzerland.

Last week, Luann de Lesseps announced she and Tom D’Agostino would be divorcing after just seven months of marriage. Her Real Housewives of New York City co-stars were supportive, but approximately no one was surprised. The relationship was volatile and rumor-filled from the start. Court orders were even involved!

In any case, Luann did what anyone does after a bad and public breakup: She changed her name on Instagram (back to “de Lesseps”) and proceeded to post a bunch of travel envy photos to said Instagram.

So if you’re wondering where Luann is now, she’s walking off the divorce in Switzerland, where she is hiking and posing by waterfalls.

She is riding trains.

She is quoting Sound of Music.

She is hiking some more.

Good for Luann. We have to imagine New York City is not the most friendly city for her at the moment. If nothing else, it must be chock-full of memories and potential run-ins with friends, fans and frenemies who just want to talk about Tom.

And Switzerland seems nice!

Tom hasn’t surfaced in any notable way since news of the divorce was announced, but really, actions speak louder than words so in that way, he has nothing more to say.

Meanwhile, Carole Radziwill and her boyfriend, Adam, are also rumored to have split. Though, it must be said, that was an entirely different relationship. Which is just to say, they both seem much more reasonable. He moved out on the show, after the two’s “shacking up” period soured, and Carole and spoke about how their “relationship evolved past the point where either of [them] felt comfortable.”
