More drama on the Real Housewives horizon as Ashley Darby and Gizelle Bryant keep the shots coming in dueling Potomac blog posts.

Whew. The tension between Ashley Darby, Robyn Dixon and Gizelle Bryant has been building for a few episodes now and things finally came to a head in last week’s dramatic restaurant showdown. Of course, we’ve got no closure and the shots are still being fired as we scrounge for more drama before picking back up with Real Housewives of Potomac Sunday.

First out the gate with a post-show post, Gizelle gave a deliciously underhanded apology in her BravoTV Q&A. But before we even get to that, Bryant wasted no time throwing the rest of her cast under the bus.

Asked why she wanted to go confront Ashley, she rattled off a list of other names:

  1. Karen Hunger thought Ashley was “a rude, inconsiderate humping banshee.”
  2. Charrisse Jackson Jordan felt like Ashley was “immature and ignorant.”
  3. Robyn Dixon “just brought Ashley to a new level of hot fish frying messiness.”

Damn. In her blog, Gizelle proceeded to place most of the blame for how things escalated on Robyn. Mainly, she claims she had no idea Robyn felt so strongly nor that she would go off like that. In retrospect, choosing Ashley’s restaurant as the locale was a poor move:

"Now you know I love a good confrontation, however, that was not a conversation that should have taken place at anybody’s business let alone Ashley’s. Ashley deserved to hear everything that we said in the way that we said it but she didn’t need to be ambushed…my bad!"

That’s about as close to an apology as you’re going to get on this show, but based on her own Bravo blog post, it doesn’t sound like Ashley is looking to make peace any time soon.

Honestly, Darby seems to take issue with the fact Robyn and Gizelle were mad in the first place and promptly lit into their intelligence and class:

"Have you ever seen such low class? I certainly haven’t experienced that in the circles I run in; perhaps the [Green-Eyed Bandits] have only experienced chicken and waffle houses, but Michael and I have tried to create a unique and fun restaurant. It is utterly embarrassing to think I associate with people who think it’s acceptable to attack me when I’m working to make a living."

The Real Housewives of Potomac clearly have wildly different ideas of what class looks like and what and where friends can and cannot speak on personal matters. The irony, of course, being that their ambushes, finger-waving and fights make for their messiest behavior yet. With husbands and businesses also under fire, it looks like this blow up is far from blowing over.
