RHOP: We have just four questions for Mrs. Ashley Darby

The latest season of Real Housewives of Potomac is starting to really heat up. With this latest episode, it leaves us with a few questions for Ashley Darby.

The latest season of The Real Housewives of Potomac is really starting to heat up. Whether it be the curiosity game or otherwise, some truths are really being brought to the forefront by the ladies of RHOP.  We could talk about a plethora of things today. Really, we could.  But Ashley Darby really does stick out in our mind.

We could discuss Juan and Robyn Dixon’s infinite nuptial timeline some more, or we could discuss how Gizelle Bryant could possibly be back with her ex-husband, Jamal Bryant, after he cheated and had a baby on her (Hey Karen).

While we have Karen Huger here, we could also ask what’s the real deal behind the scenes on the situation with her and Wendy. Something seems off about Karen’s feelings, especially being that we saw a photo of them together from 2018 during the latest RHOP episode.

All of those could have been the topics today, but they aren’t. What we have today might just trump all of that (forgive me for my terminology). Today, we have just three little (or not so little) questions for one, Mrs. Ashley Darby.

We all saw the end of the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac, right? We had seen it coming for some time now though, as that has been apart of the “next week’s preview” portion of the show for at least two weeks now(production knows how to suck you in and keep you tuned).

If that wasn’t enough though and if you have been keeping up with the show prior to this season, then you know that this is nothing new. Well, Michael Darby’s behavior isn’t anything new, or at least the accusation and nature of his supposed behavior.

Questioned about his sexuality a few times previously on the show(which doesn’t matter to us at all, but his honesty, openness, and living his truth does), the male Darby now finds himself back in the line of fire.

Ironically enough, it’s Candiace Dillard Bassett with the tea. Decisions, decisions, and oh what a tangled web they weave…

It’s really a funny or awkward place for her to be in, as she and Ashley just got to a place where they are seemingly mending their relationship. What does she do?

Like good production would have it, we just have to keep watching to find out. With that thought, here are four questions we have for Ashley.

Are you aware of your husband’s preference and just not telling us?

At this point, she has to be aware. While you hate to call her a prop or a beard (the lady counterpart of a “closeted” man used as a diversion from who he truly his), she’s either that, extremely naive or in on the whole thing.

With as dense as the situation and his behavior appears to be, she has to know right? That is the first question.

Why? As in why are you denying it or why are you in denial?

Her domestic situation doesn’t matter to us, however, what she’s telling us all out of her own mouth does.  There are either two ways that this scenario could or has gone down.

Either she knows fully and continues to deny it all or she knows, doesn’t want to accept it, and thus lives in denial. Those are about the only two ways I can see it.

Either way, the question of “why” is in play here. We deserve answers, either way it goes.

Was it important to her marriage or not?

Look, this is a bit much, even for me. However, it’s apart of the narrative so we must touch on it, for lack of better terms.

When Karen asked if her “booty hole was important to her marriage”, there was a bit of hesitation there. With the assumptions, accusations, and prior knowledge we have, she would have been a fool to say yes.

First of all, I guess I can understand her original logic from her first mention of the subject but knowing her husband like we think we do, she had to have known it would lead to further questions.

Here’s a theory. Even if it does play a part in her marriage (sex people, we are talking about sex and I think it does play a part, for full disclosure), she wouldn’t say so because that gives the rest of the crew ammo.

Ammo for you know what. Yep, that’s it.

Lastly, is your obsession with your child truly a “you” thing or something Michael has made you believe?

We get it. The relationship and protective nature of a new mom can be a lot, overbearing, but also appropriate in their eyes.

That’s not our thing here. It’s also healthy to spend some time with yourself as a new mom though, to make sure that your mental health is intact, in order that you can be your best self for your child.

Ashley Darby hasn’t gotten to that place yet, but is that her fault? Yes, Ashley comes off a bit obsessive, but based on Michael’s sentiments about her needing to carry the baby to Monique’s lake house with her, is that all her?

I don’t think that’s all her. I believe that has a lot to do with Michael’s feelings.

That’s also what led to her discrepancy with Wendy. Plus, we all know why Michael wanted a free weekend to himself… *wink wink.*

So, with that, our final question would be this. Are all of your actions surrounding your newborn son a “you” thing, or is it more because that’s what Michael thinks you should be doing? The world needs answers.

We are all surely waiting patiently, but anxiously for this Sunday’s episode. We will surely find out more about Michaels Weekend Out.  Until then though, these were just the four questions that we have for his wife, Mrs. Ashley Darby.
